What you should know about Almyra at Kina
We emigrated from the UK about 16 years ago following a wonderful holiday in New Zealand, when we decided that this was the country for us! We became New Zealand citizens in early 2003 and now have some of our family around us too daughter and partner and three gorgeous wee granddaughters who also live in Tasman. After spending a few years in Wellington we decided to move to South Island and found this very special piece of land on the stunning Kina Peninsula. Kina is very special, being close to the Abel Tasman but also within easy distance of Nelson. Its contemporary design and modern features inspire many of our guests who love to enquire about features we have designed here and that can be incorporated in their own house dreams.
We feel very privileged to live in such a wonderful part of New Zealand and take great pleasure in sharing our home and surroundings with our guests many of whom are now good friends!. Ron is our in house artist and pastel painter and many of his works are displayed throughout the house. We look forward to welcoming you to this beautiful location in New Zealand's South Island,close to the Abel Tasman National Park and Nelson. Our Best Dina Apartment offers a lovely splendid king bed twin bed option available upon request at the time of booking beautiful luxury linens dressing area local art work, much of it by our host, Ron, who loves to labor in Pastels. Our beautifully appointed 2 Bedroom Apartment offers you 2 luxury king bedded rooms and en suite bathrooms, sharing the living room and kitchenette. At Palmyra Waterfront Accommodation we have a 3 evening least stay throughout the year, with a 5 night minimum stay for the Apartment options from 23 December to 5 January.
Biking cycle into Motueka and appreciate the coastal cycle path or be more adventurous on the Vast Taste Trail. The Palmyra Apartment provides the shared use of the living room kitchenette for a single party booking creating an exclusive two bedroom extravagant self contained option for your travel needs whilst staying in the splendid Nelson and Abel Tasman region. It’s an effortless drive to the Abel Tasman Nation Park and Kahurangi National Park and we’re ideally positioned for visiting Nelson, local wineries, golf courses, art studios, cafes and so much more. Palmyra Waterfront Lodge is located 30 Minutes from Nelson Airport and 30 minutes from Kaiteriteri and the Abel Tasman National Park. The Palmyra Apartment is a 2 bedroom self contained apartment, and offers guests an alternative to booking the Dina Apartment the Tasman Suite separately, offered at a reduced rate this is an option for two couples traveling together but wishing for the privacy of separate suites and en suite bathrooms
